The Role

This full-time role is part of the finance team and plays a vital part in the company's operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the administration of suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processes.
  • Setting up new suppliers and processing applications for terms, maintaining a strong working relationship with the purchasing team.
  • Liaising with the purchasing team to resolve price variances and GRNs, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Processing sundry supplier invoices, overseas prepayments, and freight payments, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Requesting copy invoices, daily matching of goods receipt notes, and requesting credits and PODs to ensure accurate payment processes.
  • Capturing and reconciling credit card statements, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Recording monthly group costs and maintaining the annual register, providing valuable insights for the business.
  • Reconciling supplier statements to invoices captured, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Preparing payment runs for mid-month and end-of-month payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing general cleaning and maintenance of the office, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Booking services for company vehicles and forklifts, maintaining a well-maintained fleet.
  • Maintaining office and kitchen supplies, ensuring a comfortable and productive workspace.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable capacity, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Knowledge and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new ERP systems and procedures.
  • High-level attention to detail, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
