Skilled Fitter

We are seeking experienced and skilled fitters to join our maintenance team at our Lake Vermont project in North Queensland.
The successful candidate will work on a 7/7 roster, reporting to the maintenance supervisor, and will be responsible for general maintenance, breakdowns, servicing, and component change-outs.
- Trade certificate in diesel fitting or equivalent is required;
- Post-trade experience with highway truck equipment, particularly Volvo, is highly regarded;
- Knowledge of drill and blast equipment, including MPU trucks, stemming trucks, and prill augers, is essential;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this role;
- A current driver's license (MR/HR) is highly desirable;
- Standard 11 certification is also an advantage.
