We are seeking an experienced Water Engineer/Technical Director to join our Water Team in a leadership capacity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering high-quality technical outcomes, including investigation, analysis, and design tasks to support water and wastewater systems planning and design.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver high-quality technical outcomes as part of a team, including investigation, analysis, and design tasks to support water and wastewater systems planning and design.
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams delivering major infrastructure projects and providing water and wastewater infrastructure-related services.
- Work with clients to deliver sustainable water and wastewater system solutions.
- Contribute to winning work and market-led innovative offerings.
- Relevant Civil or Mechanical Engineering Degree and have attained, or be eligible for Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) status.
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including water and wastewater treatment, steady state system hydraulic calculations, pump sizing & selection, and pipeline design.
- Transient modeling experience is considered to be an advantage.
- Experience with Industry Standards, Australian Standards, and Client Standards for Piping and Mechanical Water and Wastewater Design.
- Desirable Experience with Industry standard software packages, such as Bentley Water CAD & Hammer, Caesar II, etc.
- An eagerness to undertake project management tasks and roles, with the ability to develop your career in our team.
