Job Title: Senior Diversity and Inclusion Specialist

Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and understanding.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Design and execute initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our organization. This may include training programs, policy development, and community engagement.
  • Promote Positive Attitudes and Behaviour Change: Foster a workplace culture that values and celebrates diversity. Encourage employees to recognize and challenge biases, and develop skills to address microaggressions and unconscious bias.
  • Increase Internal and Community Awareness: Develop and implement education programs that raise awareness about the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Collaborate with local organizations to amplify our impact and build relationships within the community.
  • Embed a Whole-of-Organization Approach: Work closely with leadership and staff to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of our organization. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that promote equity and inclusion.
