Investment Portfolio Manager

NXT GIG is seeking an experienced investment professional to join their dynamic finance team. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the investment portfolios of clients. Your expertise in financial markets and investment strategies will guide your decision-making, ensuring that client objectives are met while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Portfolio Management: Managing and overseeing superannuation investment portfolios to ensure alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.
  • Market Analysis: Conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify investment opportunities and assess performance metrics.
  • Strategy Development: Developing and implementing investment strategies that maximize returns while mitigating risk.
  • Client Advisory: Collaborating with clients to understand their financial goals and provide expert investment advice.
  • Market Monitoring: Monitoring economic trends and market developments, adjusting investment strategies as necessary.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's or relevant certification (CFA, CAIA) preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an investment manager, specifically in superannuation or related investment sectors.
  • Investment Knowledge: Strong understanding of investment principles, portfolio management, and financial markets.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Data Analysis: High proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling tools.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and relationship management skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
