The team ensures that we have a world-class engineering capability, at the forefront of technology, using innovative and emerging technology to support Group Strategy and customers.

AI Powered Engineering Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional squads to deliver AI-powered engineering product suites.
  • Own and execute product roadmaps, prioritising backlog items and defining OKRs.
  • Partner with engineering squads, AI researchers, and platform teams to assess use cases and scale proven capabilities.
  • Translate customer and developer needs into actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Navigate complex enterprise environments, aligning stakeholders and managing risks and controls associated with AI use in software engineering.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, remove blockers, and improve delivery predictability and velocity.
  • Establish product health metrics and socialise outcomes through executive-ready updates and storytelling.
  • Maintain currency on AI advancements and apply them pragmatically to solve real developer experience and productivity challenges.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience as a leader with strong collaboration, communication, and reporting skills.
  • A proven Product Owner who has delivered complex digital or engineering-enablement products in large organisations.
  • Comfortable in technical environments, able to engage with engineers on topics such as CI/CD, testing, SDLC, and developer experience.
  • Fair working knowledge of AI concepts and application in engineering.
  • Experience working within risk, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks a plus.
  • Skilled in Agile delivery and product discovery, with hands-on experience in backlog management and roadmap definition.
