Strategic Cost Analyst

We are seeking an experienced professional to undertake qualitative and quantitative cost assurance activities across a range of projects and programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Defence systems, including financial, budget, capability requirements and deliver plans.
Responsibilities- Undertake cost assurance activities across a range of functions
- Synthesise information and extract strategic level briefing knowledge from qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Prepare executive governance briefings in accordance with Defence policies and procedures
- Lead or coordinate monthly governance and reporting
- Identify and implement mitigation strategies to manage risks, issues, and opportunities relating to governance of programmatic objectives
- Other relevant tasks as required relating to program delivery of capability acquisition and sustainment
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or a minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience
- Experience in a CASG/Defence/Defence Industry environment
- Previous experience with Defence governance and assurance platforms (PPRIP, MRM)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
