Community Disability Support Job

Are you passionate about helping individuals with disabilities? This role involves supporting children, teenagers, and adults with a disability to actively participate in their community and at home.

As a member of our Community Access Teams, you will make meaningful connections and contribute to your local community. You will have the opportunity to support people at Community Hubs, in the community, and occasionally at home, to achieve their goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients towards their goals, engaging in recreation and social activities, shopping, appointments, and events.
  • Assist with daily living and personal care needs, including meal preparation, hygiene, and mobility.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively in a diverse team to provide high-quality services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
  • A Certificate IV in Disability or relevant experience is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Effective communication skills and good English literacy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
  • Willingness to support personal care activities.
  • Australian Driver Licence.
  • Right to work in Australia.
