We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management professional to join our Finance team.

The Project Accountant will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial management support to drive the success of our Enterprise Partnering Agreement (EPA) and other programs. As an active member of our Saab Finance Team, you will contribute to the overall performance of the Finance Group.

  • Deliver end-to-end financial solutions
  • Establish and manage monthly financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Develop and maintain IFRS 15 documentation to ensure revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards
  • Review and validate task estimates to completion
  • Maintain variance analysis reports to track program progress
  • Manage customer financial reporting requirements
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for 'fee at risk'
  • Generate accurate and timely invoicing
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Commerce, Business or Accounting
  • Experience in project financial principles, including earned value management, project accounting and cost estimation processes
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and Agresso
  • A proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Defence security clearance is required for this role. You must hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1/NV2 level.
