Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage building work packages as the Package Manager, leading coordination efforts to deliver all elements from procurement to onsite completion.

As a skilled coordinator, you will oversee all stages of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing assigned building work packages as the Package Manager;
  • Assisting in procurement activities including scope creation, quote management, and subcontractor vetting;
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of drawings, scopes, briefs, and project requirements;
  • Assisting project leadership with planning, scheduling, and tracking site activities;
  • Monitoring progress against project timelines and addressing any delays proactively;
  • Preparing and providing timely progress reports and maintaining accurate site records;
  • Coordinating subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and schedule obligations;
  • Engaging with consultants and subcontractors to manage RFIs, shop drawings, inspections, defects, and NCRs;
  • Supporting quality control processes including ITPs, defect management;
  • Fostering strong stakeholder relationships and facilitating collaboration between all project parties;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in Building works and managing subcontractors on commercial projects;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks;
  • Sound knowledge of safety and quality control requirements;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with teams, clients, and subcontractors;
  • Tertiary or Certificate-level qualification in Construction, or equivalent experience;
