Job Description

As a senior implementation consultant, you will play a key role in supporting client implementations of Alfa Systems. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Alfa project manager or Alfa implementation architect to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements gathering and documentation of user stories;
  • Working closely with customers and software engineering teams to identify gaps and ensure new features satisfy customer requirements;
  • Participating in process mapping workshops and documenting operational processes with significant accounting, reporting, and integration impacts;

You will be responsible for configuring Alfa Systems to support customer requirements and business processes. This includes performing QA and review of issues, understanding customer impacts, and providing workarounds pending issue resolution.

Application Support

Assisting clients with ensuring test coverage and requirements traceability is crucial in this role. Data conversion, including participating in data mapping workshops, transform and load development, data reconciliation, and troubleshooting are also essential responsibilities.

Ownership and Leadership

As a senior consultant, you will take ownership of your area and may be responsible for supervising and supporting more junior consultants working in that area. You will work closely with both the client and the rest of the implementation team to ensure the success of both your specific stream and the overall project.

  • Provide input into workstream and project planning;
  • Proactively identify risks & issues that might impact delivery timelines;
  • Continue to learn about Alfa Systems and the industries we support, sharing this knowledge with the broader company;
  • Report on progress, work within timelines, and monitor budget for your area of responsibility;
  • Develop exceptional relationships with members of the customer and Alfa teams through tact and diplomacy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Alfa Systems and experience in implementation projects are essential. Additionally, strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required to effectively supervise and support junior consultants.
