Job Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a successful team to grow the new vehicle department and overseeing staff to reach targets while working with a strong brand in a coastal QLD location.

This role requires a proven Sales Manager with recent experience in automotive sales management and strong leadership skills to mentor staff, nurture their performance, and negotiate with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and train the sales team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stockholding and minimize waste.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform business decisions.

Compensation Package: A competitive salary comprising a retainer plus superannuation, a maintained company car, and incentives will be offered to proven performers.
