About This Role

As a healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in maintaining the physical and emotional well-being of our elderly residents.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with older persons and provide exceptional patient care and support to families through open communication and education.

You will be responsible for ensuring their health and safety are prioritized at all times. Your duties may include:

  • Maintaining high standards of care for older persons.
  • Providing exceptional patient care and support to families.
  • Managing and directing care staff to deliver quality elder activities.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety legislation, policy, and procedures to create a safe environment.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and medication management systems.
What You Will Need
  • A strong educational background as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with current AHPRA registration.
  • Post-graduate evidence of formal education and ongoing professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including those living with dementia and frail/ confused elders.
  • Ability to mentor staff and provide clinical guidance on pain management, palliative care, and other relevant areas.
