About the Role

The New Zealand Defence Force is seeking a skilled Hospitality Specialist to join our team as a Steward. As a Steward, you will provide exceptional service to our officers and guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide table service to up to three meals a day
  • Set up and serve at official functions, including cocktail parties, formal dinners, buffets, and morning and afternoon teas
  • Provide VIP support to high-profile international and diplomatic functions

Career Progression and Training

As a Steward, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through comprehensive training and on-the-job experience. You will start with initial and professional training, followed by practical, supervised on-the-job training while working at the Navy base's Officers' Mess.

Entry Requirements
