About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Precision Metal Fabricator to join our Manufacturing team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating sheet and tube laser cutting machines to cut various metals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating laser cutting machines to precision cut metal sheets and tubes.
  • Setting up and calibrating machines for specific cutting jobs.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accurate cutting specifications.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Handling materials safely, including sorting, organizing, and storing metal sheets.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment.
  • A valid forklift license and ability to lift up to 20kg.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and machine programming.
