Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist

Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
Additionally, you will select and prepare various sheet metal materials, utilizing hand and power tools such as shears, brakes, punches and drills.
You will operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, to join metal components with precision and accuracy.
It is essential to maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring all welds meet quality standards.
A basic understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes is necessary for this role.
Finally, you will prioritize workflow through effective communication with management staff.
- A trade qualification in Welding or Sheet Metal Work (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a welding and/or sheet metal fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
