Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Database Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale database systems that support 24/7 retail operations.

You will work across a diverse and evolving environment, ensuring the availability, integrity, and performance of databases that support business-critical systems.

Your primary focus will be on administering and maintaining SQL Server environments, including clustering and AlwaysOn availability.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, manage, and support databases for business-critical systems, troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and integrity issues, and collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to deliver projects and system improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server (2008R2–2022) and its features
  • Strong understanding of database design, development, troubleshooting, and administration
  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS components
  • Ability to optimize SQL queries and implement performance tuning strategies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
