Database Development Expert

As a senior developer in our organization, you will be integral to the development and optimization of solutions that streamline and elevate operational processes.

About This Role

This role demands a wealth of experience in database technologies and a robust understanding of business processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining database solutions tailored to our organization's specific needs, ensuring they are resilient, scalable, and highly efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing database solutions, including creating data models, schemas, and database objects.
  • Participating in software development life cycle (SDLC) phases, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment of PL/SQL code, stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
  • Optimizing database performance through SQL script tuning, indexing, and data structure improvements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate databases with various systems and applications.
  • Ensuring data integrity and smooth information flow between systems.
  • Identifying and resolving complex database issues, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation for database designs, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced developer with:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a developer with a strong record of successful database projects.
  • Experience with Oracle Retail and Oracle APEX.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and database design principles.
  • Expertise in Oracle database and DB2 technologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps for database deployment (CI/CD for automated deployment of database scripts).
  • Knowledge of order management systems and data integration.
