Job Overview:

The role of the Payroll Manager entails overseeing all payroll operations across corporate and site-based employees. This includes managing a small team, ensuring compliance with various agreements, awards, and legislation, as well as driving system transformation and vendor selection.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee payroll operations for both corporate and site-based employees
  • Manage and mentor a small team, promoting accountability and structure

About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading payroll teams across multi-site or industrial operations
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise agreements, awards, and regulatory compliance
  • Technical expertise with hands-on capability across payroll systems
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and engage with senior finance and HR stakeholders
  • Familiarity with payroll system upgrades or RFP processes is highly beneficial
  • Experience in sectors such as mining, construction, energy, or agriculture will be highly valued
