Be part of a centralised transformation team and shape strategic automation and digital initiatives across SCADA, OT, cyber security, and AI.

As a Principal Automation and Digital Engineer, you'll lead significant technical uplift, guide enterprise strategy, and stay hands-on with delivery while working closely with stakeholders across engineering, IT, cyber, and operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and deliver an enterprise roadmap across automation, digital systems, and AI
  • Improve the quality, performance, and security of automation, cyber, SCADA, and OT systems
  • Provide advisory support to cross-functional leaders and project teams
  • Identify technology risks, innovation opportunities, and emerging trends
  • Build internal capability and mentor teams through digital uplift initiatives

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in automation, digital systems, and/or operational technology environments
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA system delivery, integration, or improvement
  • Strong track record influencing at the enterprise level in asset-intensive organisations
  • Experience leading technology uplift or digital transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of OT and cyber risk considerations
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field
