Emergency Clinical Development Role

The position involves leading educational initiatives to enhance clinical skills in the emergency department. Employment is as a Registered Nurse Level 2 for an initial period of 6-12 months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

  • Key responsibilities include delivering formal, informal, and opportunistic education that supports staff development and enhances clinical skills across the Emergency Department.
  • Providing clinical leadership and promoting high standards of professional and clinical practice in emergency nursing.
  • Contributing to the advancement of nursing education and supporting departmental management activities, including oversight of designated portfolios.
  • Mentoring, guiding, and collaborating to foster a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence in a fast-paced ED environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse Level 2.
  • Pre-employment National Police Check and compliance with occupational assessment, screening, and vaccination policy.
  • Desirable experience in emergency nursing education or clinical development.
