Job Opportunity

This is a key role in the School of Clinical Medicine, with responsibility for teaching, research leadership and educational excellence.

The successful candidate will provide clinical teaching, educational and research leadership on the St George Hospital campus, with a preference for a Critical Care field of specialisation.

The role reports to the Head of St George and Sutherland Clinical Campuses.

A PhD in a related discipline, or relevant work experience, is required, as well as medical qualification registerable in NSW and specialist training, preferably in a Critical Care field.

  • A commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
  • Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
Key Skills Required
  • A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
