Public Health Opportunity

Bendigo Health is seeking a dynamic professional to contribute to the delivery of a resilient and sustainable place-based public health response. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a leading regional health service, live and work in a vibrant regional setting, and develop their skills in teaching and learning.

About the Role

The Public Health role will involve acquiring knowledge, skills, and aptitudes through completing placements in various public health activities. This dynamic position will contribute to the span of LMPHU activities as determined by ongoing business planning.

The Public Health role will work closely with regional education coordinators, supervisors, and mentors to deliver a range of public health programs and services. These may include supporting the public health response to flooding, delivering population health catchment plans, and coordinating response activities to communicable disease incidents and outbreaks.
