Job Title: Lead Clinician

About the Role:

This position offers an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team providing assessment, treatment, and recovery-focused care in the community. As a Community Mental Health Clinician, you will support adults experiencing mental health challenges by delivering individualized care and support plans, providing therapy and psychoeducation to clients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families
  • Provide therapy and psychoeducation to clients and their families to promote mental health and well-being
  • Coordinate with other services and support discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Monitor mental health and medication effects to inform treatment decisions
  • Contribute to community education and awareness initiatives to promote mental health literacy

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, social work, or related field
  • Registration with relevant professional association (e.g., AHPRA)
  • Experience working with adults experiencing mental health challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
