Clinical Care Manager

The Clinical Care Manager is a key leadership position within McLean Care, responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to residents in our Inverell facility. As a seasoned Clinical Manager, you will oversee the delivery of clinical services, lead a team of healthcare professionals, and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Leadership: Lead a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Team Leaders, and Care Service Employees to deliver high-quality clinical care to residents.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Manage systems to ensure staff are able to provide optimum levels of care, maximize funding income, and operate within budget parameters.
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Act 1997 and Principles, as well as the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Manage Staff: Provide first-line supervision, allocate duties, and ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Be the Chief Fire Warden: Take responsibility for ensuring the facility's fire safety and emergency procedures are in place and up-to-date.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager with a strong background in providing clinical leadership and a passion for delivering high-quality care. You will bring:
- Current APHRA Registration: As a Registered Nurse, you will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- 5+ Years' Clinical Leadership Experience: You will have a proven track record of providing clinical leadership and managing teams in a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of Individualized Care Provision: You will have a demonstrated understanding of individualized care provision and care planning processes.
- Ability to Seek Out and Utilize New Knowledge: You will be able to seek out and effectively utilize new knowledge as it relates to nursing practices, such as wound and pain management.
- Sound Understanding of Aged Care Legislation: You will have a sound understanding of the Aged Care Act 1997 and Principles, as well as the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Competence in Financial Management: You will have experience in managing claims for aged care subsidies and funding AN-ACC.
- Ability to Establish and Maintain Professional Relationships: You will be able to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents, their families, and staff.
- Collaborative Leadership Style: You will have a collaborative leadership style, able to work well within a team and liaise closely on key decisions.
- Strong Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence people.
- Excellent Computer Skills: You will have strong computer skills, including proficiency in software relevant to the role.
- Basic Life Support Accreditation: You will hold Basic Life Support accreditation.
We offer a competitive salary of $124,000 plus super, as well as a range of benefits, including:
