The Clinical Care Manager is a key leadership position within McLean Care, responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to residents in our Inverell facility. As a seasoned Clinical Manager, you will oversee the delivery of clinical services, lead a team of healthcare professionals, and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Leadership: Lead a team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Team Leaders, and Care Service Employees to deliver high-quality clinical care to residents.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Manage systems to ensure staff are able to provide optimum levels of care, maximize funding income, and operate within budget parameters.
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Act 1997 and Principles, as well as the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Manage Staff: Provide first-line supervision, allocate duties, and ensure staff are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Be the Chief Fire Warden: Take responsibility for ensuring the facility's fire safety and emergency procedures are in place and up-to-date.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Manager with a strong background in providing clinical leadership and a passion for delivering high-quality care. You will bring:
- Current APHRA Registration: As a Registered Nurse, you will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- 5+ Years' Clinical Leadership Experience: You will have a proven track record of providing clinical leadership and managing teams in a healthcare setting.
- Strong Understanding of Aged Care: You will have a deep understanding of the Aged Care Act 1997 and Principles, as well as the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You will be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, as well as provide clear guidance and direction to your team.
- Financial Management Skills: You will have experience in managing claims for aged care subsidies and funding, as well as financial management in a healthcare setting.
- Competitive Salary: You will receive a competitive salary of $124,000 plus super.
- Relocation Allowance: If you are relocating to Inverell, you will be eligible for a relocation allowance.
