Job Title

An exciting opportunity exists for an Electrical Technician to join our team at the Kalgoorlie Rare Earth Processing Facility.

About the Role

This is a residential position that reports to the Electrical Supervisor with a focus on maintenance and plant optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative and corrective maintenance support, participating in developing maintenance strategies, ensuring risks are identified and managed to provide a safe work environment, and being involved in projects to optimize and upgrade plant performance.

  • Maintenance Support: Provide technical support for electrical equipment and systems, perform routine maintenance tasks, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Maintenance Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Electrical Supervisor to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
  • Safety Management: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, identify potential hazards, and take corrective action to prevent accidents.

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will be required to have experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell control systems and VSD's, exposure to Maintenance Management Systems - Pronto, a current High Risk Work License (WA) - WP, LF, and WA unencumbered C class drivers' license.
