Part-time Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor Role

This role is an opportunity to upskill, build confidence, and gain valuable practical experience in a supportive workplace environment.

  • Support daily safety operations across various work settings.
  • Coordinate with workplace safety representatives and provide administrative support for safety meetings.
  • Maintain training records and assist with the delivery of programs, including First Aid and Emergency Management.
  • Contribute to reviewing and maintaining health and safety policies and risk management documents.
  • Support inspections, incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action follow-ups.
  • Assist in promoting safe work practices through inductions, coaching, and positive safety conversations.

This part-time role offers flexibility to suit school hours and a hybrid model of office and work-from-home arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in health, safety, and wellbeing, preferably in a workplace or operational setting.
  • Qualification in Work Health and Safety (e.g. Certificate IV) is desirable but not essential.
  • Basic knowledge of hazard identification, safe work practices, and incident reporting.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with ability to manage documentation and follow through on actions.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine interest in creating a safe and supportive workplace.
  • Commitment to learning, growing, and building confidence while re-entering the workforce.
