Operate Heavy Machinery and Assist Team Members

This role offers a chance to work as a casual quarry operator at our Ferny Grove Quarry in Brisbane, Queensland. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating mobile equipment, including dump trucks, front end loaders, and excavators.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- Operating the crushing and screening plant
- General fixed plant maintenance and inspections
- During busy periods, we expect all employees to assist with any quarry tasks where needed

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Valid tickets and experience operating a loader, dump truck, and excavator
- Total commitment to safety leadership and zero harm
- Strict adherence to pre-start & maintenance procedures for fixed and mobile plant
- Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised
- Professional work ethic with a can-do attitude

**What We Offer**:

- 38 hours per week spread over 4 days of 9.5 hours per day
- Last day of the financial week and Saturdays are overtime
- First 2 hours of overtime at 1.5 times rate, then double time from then
