Neurocognitive Research Expert Wanted

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Neurocognitive Research Fellow to contribute to a clinical trial investigating psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for opioid use disorder. The successful applicant will develop, implement and analyse neurocognitive outcome measures, design and conduct experiments, and collaborate with researchers across the Addiction & Impulsivity Research Lab and the Computational & Systems Neuroscience Lab.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a clinical trial investigating psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for opioid use disorder
  • Develop, implement and analyse neurocognitive outcome measures
  • Design and conduct experiments, analyse neuropsychological and cognitive data, and apply computational models of cognition
  • Collaborate with researchers in addiction and neuroscience fields

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral qualification in Psychology, Neuroscience or a closely related discipline
  • Experience analysing neurocognitive and neuropsychological measures; developing or applying computational models of cognition; and contributing to manuscripts for publication
  • Familiarity with fMRI research methods; experience with addictive disorders is highly regarded
