Job Description\

As a specialist in neuropsychology, you will form part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive assessment and treatment services for individuals aged 65 years and above with psychiatric disabilities and neurocognitive disorders.

The service has established relationships with residential aged care facilities, delivering mental health services to three psychogeriatric nursing homes. The In-Reach Team provides a holistic approach to mental health consumers residing in these facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing in-depth cognitive assessments
  • Contributing to diagnosis and addressing consumer issues related to cognition and decision-making
  • Engaging in behaviour management and treatment planning in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team and external stakeholders
  • Participating in quality improvement processes and research initiatives
