Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a clinical trial investigating psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for opioid use disorder.
  • Develop, implement and analyse neurocognitive outcome measures.
  • Design and conduct experiments, analyze neuropsychological and cognitive data, and apply computational models of cognition.
  • Collaborate across the Addiction & Impulsivity Research Lab and the Computational & Systems Neuroscience Lab.
  • Publish research findings and contribute to the School's research profile; access to advanced neuroimaging facilities.
  • Support collaboration within a network of researchers focused on innovative treatments for addictive disorders.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral qualification in Psychology, Neuroscience or a closely related discipline, or progress towards this with strong academic foundations.
  • Experience analyzing neurocognitive and neuropsychological measures; developing or applying computational models of cognition; and contributing to manuscripts for publication.
  • Familiarity with fMRI research methods; experience with addictive disorders or mental health conditions is highly regarded.
