Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Carer to join our team. As a Therapeutic Carer, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in out-of-home care.

You will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for the young person to develop to their full potential. This includes managing household duties, providing age-appropriate care, supporting goals established in the child or young person's Individual Care Plan, and participating in social and recreational activities.

If you thrive on responsibility, are calm under pressure, and have a knack for clear communication, you'll fit right in with our team.

Requirements
  • Experience working with young people, particularly in therapeutic environments
  • Located within the Kimberley region
  • A positive, resilient attitude and a commitment to making a difference
  • A relevant diploma qualification or equivalent experience
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to work a week-on, week-off roster, including sleepover shifts
