Key Role in Distributor Network Management

The State Distributor Manager is a crucial position within the Australian operations of a leading food company, responsible for overseeing all product lines within the distributor network in New South Wales.

This role demands effective utilisation of promotional funds, agreed distribution of products, and negotiation of promotional activity to achieve targeted sales and contribution margin.

The successful candidate will act as a product line advisor, applying range/category management principles while ensuring business objectives are met.

Key responsibilities include controlling sales expenditure, negotiating independent trading terms, achieving and maintaining distribution of new and current products, and reviewing market share trends and competitor activity.

Strong planning and organisational skills, high-level business acumen, and demonstrated ability to build relationships aligned to customer focus and business plans are essential requirements for this role.
