Design Engineer Opportunity

Are you passionate about bringing innovative ideas to life? We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our Water team based in Brisbane. As a key member of our growing team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of complex water and wastewater projects for municipal and industrial clients.

Job Description:

As a Design Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to carry out concept and detailed mechanical engineering design tasks for water-related infrastructure. You will also be responsible for delivering feasibility studies, business cases, and reference designs for treatment plant projects as part of multi-discipline design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting an expanding portfolio of complex water and wastewater projects
  • Carrying out concept and detailed mechanical engineering design tasks
  • Delivering feasibility studies, business cases, and reference designs
  • Collaborating with other technical disciplines within the wider project teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, experience supporting large-scale Water & Wastewater projects, and a proven design background. You will also need to have recently obtained or be working towards RPEQ certification.
