Senior Pharmacy Leader

This leadership role requires a specialist clinical pharmacy service for ICU and other units at Alice Springs Hospital and Tennant Creek Hospital.

About the Role

Lead and manage a team of pharmacists to provide optimal patient care, develop and implement Antimicrobial Stewardship programs, and coordinate pharmacy services across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce antibiotic resistance
  • Provide expert advice on medication management and use
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of pharmacy services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Professional registration as a pharmacist in Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical pharmacy practice, particularly in ICU settings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
