Job Title: Support Worker for Adults with Disabilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to provide support to adults with disabilities in their homes and communities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for improving the quality of life, and values making a difference.

About the Role:

  • This position involves providing In Home Care and Community Access to adults with physical or intellectual disabilities.
  • You will be responsible for supporting clients with daily living tasks, assisting with personal care, and promoting independence.
  • We offer flexible working hours with ongoing shifts, allowing you to plan your work around your lifestyle.
  • You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including client homes and community locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  2. Support clients with personal care, including toileting, showering, and transferring.
  3. Promote independence by encouraging clients to participate in daily activities and make decisions about their lives.
  4. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless support.
  5. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to management.

Requirements:

  • A strong commitment to providing person-centered care and supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience working with adults with physical or intellectual disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
