The Rural Locum Assistance Program supports healthcare services in rural and remote regions.
As a seasoned leader, you will provide stability in facilities where your expertise is most needed.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee operational management of residential aged care facilities according to organisational policy and government regulations.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation requirements, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Maintain accurate records and clinical documentation aligned with current legislation.
- Support and mentor staff to promote a culture of safety and excellence in care.
- Manage facility resources and occupancy levels effectively.
- Engage with residents, families, staff, and the wider community with compassion and professionalism.
- At least two years' experience in aged care management, including recent experience as a Facility Manager.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aged care funding models, Quality Standards, and accreditation processes.
- Current Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, or willingness to obtain prior to placement.
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration is highly desirable but not essential.
