We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our team as Economic Policy Graduates.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the heart of Canberra, supporting the Prime Minister and Cabinet on key economic policy initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions on key economic issues;
  • Develop and implement evidence-based solutions to complex policy problems;
  • Work closely with government agencies and stakeholders to deliver on priorities;
  • Provide advice on policies and programs to advance women's economic security and gender equality;
  • Support Australia's G20 Sherpa and Sous Sherpa in key engagements and meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Economics, Commerce, Finance, or Accounting within the last eight years;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Curiosity, motivation, and a drive to make a difference.
