Key Responsibilities

As a graduate in this program, you will work on key priorities that maximize economic gains, shape options for tax system reform, and advise on financial sector governance and competition. You may also collaborate closely with Behavioural Economics teams to apply evidence from social sciences to find innovative solutions to complex policy problems.

Opportunities include:

  • Influencing policy decisions on key economic issues through data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Building understanding of Australia's economic framework and contributing to its growth and development
  • Supporting G20 Sherpa and Sous Sherpa engagements with international partners and stakeholders
