We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our graduate development program.

As a treasury graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that shape the economic landscape of Australia. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides advice to the government on economic and fiscal issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide analysis and advice on economic and fiscal policy issues
  • To contribute to the development of policies and programs that achieve strong and sustainable economic outcomes for Australians
  • To work closely with other teams to identify and develop solutions to complex problems
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship or eligibility to become an Australian citizen by December 2026
  • Completed an Australian-recognised undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or higher) within the last 5 years
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Program Overview

The Treasury Graduate Development Program is a two-year program that provides graduates with the opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The program includes:

  • rotations across different business areas
  • access to ongoing training and development opportunities
  • mentorship and coaching from experienced professionals
Learning and Development

Throughout the program, graduates will have access to a range of learning and development opportunities, including:

  • formal learning and development programs
  • networking opportunities with other professionals in the field
  • mentorship and coaching from experienced professionals
Eligibility

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • be an Australian citizen or eligible to become an Australian citizen by December 2026
  • have completed an Australian-recognised undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or higher) within the last 5 years
  • meet the requirements for the APS 3.2 level
