Maternal and Child Health Support Officer

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to provide high-level administrative support to our Maternal and Child Health team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Maternal and Child Health services, ensuring a smooth and efficient service delivery. This will include tasks such as maintaining strict confidentiality, upholding the highest ethical and privacy standards, and managing incoming calls and emails.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong time management and organizational skills. They will also be proficient in the use of CDIS software and other administrative systems.

About the Role
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Maternal and Child Health services.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical and privacy standards.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Become competent in the use of CDIS software.
  • Manage incoming birth notifications and input data into CDIS system.
  • Arrange for the first five appointments.
  • Order and collect health information and resources.
  • Prepare agendas and take minutes at meetings.
  • Undertake general administrative activities.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated administration skills and experience in an office environment.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Responsive and flexible to work demands.
  • Demonstrated initiative and innovation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
