Position Overview:
This esteemed and forward-thinking Educational Services Provider is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Finance Officer to become an integral part of their finance team on a permanent part-time basis. You will oversee the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, manage Payroll, and support month-end processes. This role offers the opportunity to take charge of your responsibilities in a vibrant and evolving environment, with prospects for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Perform matching, batching, and coding of invoices
  • Handle billing, receipting, and allocation of invoices
  • Conduct end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 70 employees
  • Execute bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Process FBT, Workcover, and BAS reconciliations
  • Prepare annual financial statements
  • Assist in audit preparation
  • Engage in ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in the outlined responsibilities.
