We offer entry-level positions in manufacturing where you can work and earn a Certificate II in Engineering Studies.

Your first four weeks include paid upfront employability skills and hands-on pre-employment training to help you be job ready before we place you with one of our host organisations.

You will work full-time (part-time may also be available) in either the fabrication or mechanical engineering streams while completing a Certificate II in Engineering Studies.

We will provide you with additional mentoring, cover your PPE requirements, and also cover TAFE training fees throughout this 12-month program.

There may also be opportunities for ongoing employment once you complete your Certificate II.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutting, rolling, shaping, heating or hammering metal products to produce parts.
  • Aligning and fixing pieces together through welding, bolting, or riveting.
  • Operating and adjusting metalworking machines to create parts or tools by turning, grinding, milling, shaping, or drilling.
  • Cutting, threading, bending, and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
  • Fitting, assembling, repairing, and replacing metal parts.

About You:

  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Committed to completing the 12-month training program.
  • An Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have the right to work in Australia.
