**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technician.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food science, technology, or related fields, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar quality assurance position.

This full-time position involves working on a rotating 8 hour shift basis at our Riverstone site, overseeing all aspects of food safety and quality management.

As part of this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and administration of SQF quality management systems, as well as driving change through effective communication and stakeholder management.

  • Develop and implement quality management programs to meet industry standards
  • Liaise with production and packing teams regarding food safety matters
  • Conduct training for new and existing staff members
  • Perform internal reviews and GMP audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements and Qualifications**

A bachelor's degree in food science, technology, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will also have formal training or experience with HACCP, FSSC22000, BRC, and SQF systems.

Mastery of excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in managing internal and external stakeholders, is essential.
