St Bernard's College is a leading educational institution seeking an experienced Debt Collection Specialist to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the college collection process, including maintaining accurate records, responding to parent queries, and preparing correspondence to families and external providers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in debt collection to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely payments and resolving disputes efficiently.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, high-level keyboard skills, and experience working with Synergetic or similar systems. Knowledge of ACCC/ASIC Debt Collection Guidelines is also highly desirable.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Business Manager and other stakeholders to achieve our financial objectives. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in debt collection and management.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar debt collection position
  • Strong knowledge of Synergetic or similar systems
  • Knowledge of ACCC/ASIC Debt Collection Guidelines
  • Exemplary computer skills, including high-level keyboard skills
  • Experience with Microsoft packages

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
