Job Opportunity: Domestic Support Worker

Our organization provides care services to individuals, aiming to enhance their independence and dignity.

We offer a unique approach to support, providing services on the same day, with the same team of Support Workers. This ensures familiarity and consistency for our clients.

This role involves supporting clients with domestic tasks, such as making beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors. Additionally, you will provide some social support in the community.

You will work autonomously, following a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, with access to a vehicle and a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clients with domestic tasks, adhering to their care/support plan and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain independence.
  • Performing household chores, including cleaning and maintenance.
  • Providing social support in the community, enhancing clients' lives and well-being.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 months experience in domestic/industrial cleaning or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license and unrestricted access to a registered vehicle, appropriately insured and in good condition.
  • Ability to work autonomously, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app.
  • Above-average interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable qualifications include experience working with the elderly, good time management, reliability, and physical fitness.
