Transforming Application Performance

We are seeking a high-impact performance engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive innovation and implement end-to-end performance solutions for cloud and in-house applications.

Job Description:

Candidate should have experience in custom coding in Java to build custom tools, implementing performance tuning roadmaps, developing non-functional requirements for new and old platforms, capacity planning, chaos engineering and SRE. Hands on experience in various performance tuning tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of performance test plans and test cases for Big Data, Payments, and multi-cloud applications.
  • Oversee the analysis of performance test results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to implement performance improvements.
  • Develop and maintain automated performance testing scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Utilize Microsoft Azure PaaS services for performance testing and optimization.
  • Work with Cloudera Big Data technologies, Payments, Channel, Kafka, micro-services Teradata, and Oracle to assess and enhance performance.
  • Manage batch processes and scheduling using Control-M scheduler.
  • Provide detailed performance analysis reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide team members on performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in custom coding in Java.
  • Expertise in performance tuning and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of Big Data technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
