Job Role:

Deliver exceptional field services to customers by performing routine maintenance, scheduled repairs, installations, commissioning, training, and equipment modifications on semi-auto and fully-auto pallet wrappers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repair work as per established schedules.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, utilizing problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions.
  • Communicate transparently and promptly with clients and internal teams.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure seamless delivery of customer service.
  • Embrace travel opportunities, including local and interstate assignments.
  • Undertake new equipment installations and execute enhancements and updates to existing machinery to enhance functionality.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Mechanical Trade qualification.
  • Have experience in a field-based work environment with a desire to be in the field at customer sites and travelling interstate intermittently.
  • Previous experience as a field service technician in the packaging industry with demonstrated proficiency in supporting high-speed production machinery is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset, showing the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, coupled with self-motivation and a results-oriented work approach.
  • Hold a valid current driver's license and willingness to travel both locally and interstate.
