Industrial Electrician Opportunity

Overview
Powering Australia's industrial sector requires a skilled and experienced industrial electrician. This role involves working with clients to ensure critical machinery remains online, installing new technology, and performing preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault-finding on high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment
  2. Deliver rapid response to breakdowns to minimize downtime and support production targets
  3. Install, commission, and service electrical systems, sensors, conveyors, and VSDs
  4. Conduct safety risk assessments, complete detailed reports, and drive continuous improvement in safe work practices
  5. Collaborate with site leadership to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current A Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory)
  • Strong background in industrial/manufacturing environments – experience in FMCG, Pharma, Packaging, or Energy highly regarded
  • Proven expertise with high-speed packaging lines, conveyors, automation systems, sensors, and VSDs
  • Hands-on problem solver with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Clear communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships across operations and engineering teams
